Ng Tsui-choi has been unable to pay his rent for several months. With no alternatives, he decides to rob. One night, Tsui-choi tries to rob Chow Yat-ching but is persuaded by Yat-ching to give up the attempt and they become good friends. Tsui-choi and Yat-ching work as salesmen and their economic condition turn better. They meet a personal tutor called Tang Sau-ying. At this moment, Sau-ying's Singaporean fiance is suffering from serious illness, and he wants to come to Hong Kong for cure.
Sau-ying lacks the required money so Yat-ching and Tsui-choi help by lending money to her. However, Sau-ying's fiance has already died. His sister Chui Lam coming alone to Hong Kong. Yat-ching tries his best to comfort Sau-ying, they finally get married and run a store. At the same time, Tsui-choi and Lam become a couple too. All of them live wonderfully.
